Name : CA Somnath Giram

Age : 28  Years

Qualification : CA in 2016

Family Background : Son of a farmer from Sangvi village of Solapur district. Parents now daily.wage earner as severe drought affecting farming since many years.

Education : completed college at Jeur 16 KM from his village , commuted on a bicycle daily to and fro.

Source of Income : Due to parent’s economic condition , was not possible for them to fund him for education , Somnath came to Pune , started a Tea Stall and completed his education by studying at night while running the Tea Stall through out day. Ironically he sells tea at a joint in Sadashiv Peth area, where almost all CA coaching classes are situated.

Achievement : Appointed as a brand ambassador by Maharashtra Govt of the scheme ” Earn & Learn”.

Reacting to this Achievement  Giram said, “I have received the news through media and I am very happy that the state government has announced me as the brand ambassador for ‘earn and learn scheme’ –

Looking like ache din for chai walas these days who are willing to something big in there life because ” where there is will there is a way .”
