Clarification Regarding Income Tax Slab Rate: Budget 2017

Many People are getting Confused that Individual Income Tax Slab Rate is Changed to 3L from 2.5L.

I would like to clarify on this Point that there is No change in Slab Rates. Only Rate of Tax is Changed from 10% to 5% from those people whose Taxable Income is less than 5L.

Considering the Benefit of Rebate u/s 87A (upto Rs 2500) Also; If Anyone Earning Income Upto 3L then his Total Tax Liability will be Zero.

*For Example*
Taxable Income :                    3L/-
Tax @5% Above 2.5L       2500/-
Less : Rebate u/s 87A     2500/-
Net Tax Payable -                 0/-
