HOW TO HANDLE CA RESULT STRESS?

After the declaration of result day yesterday by ICAI, the atmosphere has become tensed. For those who don't know, the result of the Chartered Accountants Final Examination held in May, 2015 and Common Proficiency Test (CPT) held in June, 2015 are likely to be declared on Thursday, the 16th July 2015, around 2:00 P.M. Yes results day is just around the corner...there's no denying that it's a scary thing. But following are few things that you can do which will help keep you more relaxed about the situation:

  • Get a good night's sleep
    This may sound irrelevant, but getting plenty of sleep can help you feel good in the morning and you will be in a better mood ready to pick up your exam results.
     
  • Try to keep your mind occupied.
    By doing so, it will stop you thinking about the big day, and it will be done and over with before you know it. Try doing something non-educational. For example you can play computer games, chat with friends, walk the dog. Anything that you enjoy. So just focus on just enjoying the holidays before you start worrying about your results.
     
  • Don't talk about it
    Talking about it will make you think about it, which isn't good. You will over think and over worry about the situation. But I didn't meant you should leave this article in middle, complete this, share this and then don't talk about it ;)
     
  • Do not think about what you 'could have done'
    Doing this will only make you more stressed and think that you have done terribly. You might constantly say to yourself: "I didn't answer question 3, but question 10 was great!" This isn't good to do before or after you have collected your exam results.
     
  • It doesn't matter if you haven't done as well as you have expected
    If this is the case, don't stress! What's done is done. You can't change your results, and it's not the end of the world!

Warnings
  • Don't get down or depressed.
  • Understand it isn't the end of the world.
  • Don't stress; extreme stress can lead to health problems.

Remember no amount of worrying is going to change the outcome. You have already taken your exams, it is likely they have already been marked and you cannot change your answers, therefore what is the point in worrying... it will make no difference to your result.
So just take a chill pill :)

And don't be surprised if you see your hard core PK friend coming out of temple, mosque or church. And there is no harm if you too feel like giving god a visit. But keep in mind god will be extremely busy these days. So a piece of advice, Hindus should visit Mosque and vice versa, so to retain you the other god might actually listen your wish, just speaking probabilistically.
 
Result se dar nhi lagta sahab, ICAI se lagta h, pata nhi kab course structure badal de. (Not afraid of result but of ICAI, who knows when it will change CA course structure)
